Skip Hire Basildon:

The name 'Basildon' is beleived to be derived from the Anglo-Saxon personal name Boerthal and the word dun, meaning hill.

The district of Basildon, formed in 1974 covers a larger area than the  actual town itself; it emcopasses  two neighbouring towns of Billericay and Wickford, as well as several other rural villages.   Basildon Town is one of the most densely populated areas in the county.

With good train links to London Basildon is a commuter village with good transport links - which also means it's easy for us to provide skip hire to  via the A13, A127 and A1176 or wherever you are located in the surrounding area.

Skip-Pro FAQ's

Our skip hire size charts give an indication of how much you can fit into a skip. However, you should not pile up the rubbish to higher than the skip sides, nor should you “shore up” the sides of the skip by using wood extenders etc. We cannot legally remove a skip which is overloaded

You can load the skip with general household waste and builders’ waste such as bricks, rubble, soil etc. You cannot load the skip with unwanted consumer goods such as fridges/freezers/air-conditioning units etc, or any potentially toxic, corrosive or hazardous waste such as asbestos, solvents, paints, oils, aerosols and gas cannisters, flourescent tubes, batteries etc; medical

Approximately 8ft width of access is required for our skip lorries to drop off and collect safely, but if you are not sure then please don’t hesitate to contact us for guidance. You must, however ensure that access is clear.

if you do not have a driveway or other private land that we can place a skip then we would need to obtain a permit from the Council but don’t worry because we apply for the permit on your behalf and just pass the charge on.

Wherever possible we aim to process all skip hire bookings made before 12 noon for same day delivery (if you require). Skip hire bookings made after this time will generally be next-day deliveries – but please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.

We aim to recycle 90% of your skip waste. All your waste is brought back to a licenced waste recycling facility where it is separated and treated.  It is then disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible by recycling and re-using.
